Throughout Q2 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on iOS in the United Kingdom showed varied performance trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 28K during the week of May 9. This surge was followed by a steady decline, ending the quarter with approximately 15K downloads. Weekly active users for Binance also experienced fluctuations, starting at 151K and ending at 106K by the end of June.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH had a strong start with over 18K downloads in mid-April, but this number gradually decreased, dropping to around 4.3K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 188K and declining to 125K.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether saw its weekly downloads peak at about 21K in the week of May 9. However, the downloads declined sharply to roughly 6.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users for Coinbase mirrored this trend, starting at 181K and ending at 120K.

Coinbase Wallet: NFTs & Crypto experienced a significant increase in downloads, peaking at around 16.8K in early May, before dropping to about 3.3K by the end of June. The app's active users started at 89K and saw a slight increase to 89K by the end of the period.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet showed a consistent decline in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads started at around 5.6K in late March and decreased to approximately 2.1K by the end of June. Similarly, active users dropped from 38K to 23K over the same period.
